SALEM in Germany
At the very beginning SALEM focused on support for homeless people. As the reasons for the social decline of these people very often rooted in their childhood, SALEM started to build children´s homes on different locations all over Germany to give children a stable home and a better start for their adult lives.
In the following years SALEM initiated several new projects and establishments because of our wide range of interests from social and medical welfare to vegetarian nutrition, animal and environmental protection and organic agriculture.
